Abstract

Effective worker training and systematic risk management are fundamental components of occupational health and safety in modern organizations. Even when safety protocols and preventive measures are implemented, workplace hazards may still threaten employee health, operational continuity, and organizational productivity. This study examines the significance of worker training in minimizing occupational risks and enhancing workplace safety management practices. The article further explores the concept of risk management, various risk management approaches, safety risk assessment, and structured training mechanisms designed to improve employee awareness and emergency preparedness. The findings suggest that continuous safety education, proactive risk identification, and strategic risk mitigation contribute significantly to reducing workplace accidents and improving organizational resilience. Moreover, organizations that integrate safety training with risk management systems are better positioned to protect employees, comply with legal regulations, and maintain sustainable operational performance.
