  1. THE NEUROLOGICAL DOMINO EFFECT: HOW GUILLAIN-BARRÉ SYNDROME SHEDS LIGHT ON NERVE DYSFUNCTION

Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is a rare but potentially life-threatening neurological disorder characterized by rapid-onset muscle weakness caused by immune-mediated damage to the peripheral nervous system. Often triggered by preceding infections, GBS represents a complex interaction between the immune system and neural tissues, leading to disrupted nerve signal transmission. This paper explores GBS as a model for understanding broader mechanisms of nerve dysfunction, highlighting its clinical manifestations, pathophysiological processes, diagnostic approaches, and current treatment strategies. By examining epidemiological trends and historical developments alongside recent scientific insights, the study emphasizes how GBS contributes to advancing knowledge of autoimmune neuropathies. Understanding this condition not only supports improved patient management but also provides valuable perspectives on immune-related neurological disorders and their long-term implications.

  2. ITERATIVE CLOSEST POINTS ALGORITHM BASED ON CLIMATE CHANGE RAINFALL FORECASTING

Prediction of rainfall is indeed an essential assignment in today’s world. Agricultural sector principally depends upon the water concluded from the rainfall for filling up the need of water for crop cultivation. Abnormal rainfall always leads to the crisis for the agricultural sector. The effect of unfavorable rainfall can be minimized by accurately predicting it and so on time. A novel solution called Dynamic Regional Combined short-term rainfall Forecasting approach using Multi-layer Perceptron. First, Principal Component Analysis is used to reduce the dimension of thirteen physical factors, which serves as the input of MLP. Second, an Iterative Closest Points algorithm is applied to determine the structure of MLP. The surrounding sites are perceived based on the forecasting site. Finally, to solve the clutter interference which is caused by the extension of the perception range, DRCF is enhanced with several dynamic strategies. Experiments are conducted on data from dataset and we compare DRCF with atmospheric models and other machine learning approaches. The experimental results show that DRCF outperforms existing approaches in both threat score and root mean square error.

  3. RETRENCHMENT MANPOWER MODELS IN A SINGLE GRADE SYSTEM

In any organisation retrenchment is necessary whenever number of employee are more than required and number of jobs are less than required.  Due to this unnecessary expenditure, the growth of the organisation will get affected and may lead to complete breakdown of the organisation. In order to avoid this situation, retrenchment have to be done by checking the job strength and staff strength randomly or periodically. An attempt has been made to study the problem of time to retrenchment for an organisation and the explicit expressions for expected time to retrenchment and variance of time to retrenchment have been derived for a single graded organisation.

  7. GREEN SYNTHESIS OF COPPER NANOPARTICLE BY USING FRESH LEAVES OF MORINDA CITRIFOLIA AND EVALUATION OF ITS IN-VITRO ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY

The present study informed on the phytochemical composition, antibacterial activities of the leaves juice of Morinda citrifolia. Thus, the major groups of secondary metabolites observed on that juice are polyphenols, alkaloids and glycosides. These results are consistent with those of several authors who have worked on the fruits and leaves of this plant. Morindo citrifolia is a plant with broad nutraceutical and therapeutic effects and used in the traditional treatment of several ailments. The objective of this work is to investigate the phytochemistry of the leaves of M. citrifolia on one hand and on other hand to evaluate antibacterial activity. The phytochemical investigation was carried out by using ethanolic extract leaves of M. citrifolia. Concerning the antibacterial activity, it was tested on the in vitro growth of Escherichia coli.

  8. AN ANALYSIS OF INCENTIVE PROGRAMS AND MOTIVATIONAL STRATEGIES FOR EMPLOYEES AT PERAMBALUR SUGAR MILLS LIMITED

In the past, management primarily focused on optimizing the use of physical resources like raw materials and machinery. The emphasis was on tangible assets and operational processes, with success being gauged by productivity and profitability resulting from efficient management of these factors. However, in the modern, rapidly changing business landscape, human resources, represented by "Men" in the 5 M's of management have become the most critical element. This shift highlights the growing significance of people in steering organizations toward success.

Human resources are the backbone of any organization, be it in industry, agriculture, trade, commerce, politics, or government. In every domain, it is people who initiate action, make decisions, and ultimately experience the outcomes of their endeavors. They are both the drivers of productivity and the recipients of its benefits. This recognition has led modern management to place a greater emphasis on the human side of business. Today's management strategies seek to address complex issues related to employee motivation, job satisfaction, the role of individual personality within organizational culture, and relationships between groups within the organization.

A key challenge in managing people is the inherent variability in individual performance, even when employees are placed in similar circumstances. Differences in personal attitudes, motivation levels, emotional intelligence, and external factors contribute to this variation. This challenge has prompted organizations to adopt more nuanced approaches to employee management, focusing on creating a conducive environment for individual and collective growth.

In conclusion, human resources are at the heart of modern management. By addressing their needs for motivation, satisfaction, and growth, organizations can harness their full potential, driving them toward the achievement of common goals and long-term success.

  10. COMPARATIVE STUDY OF MICROGREENS GROWN IN HYDROPONIC SYSTEM AND SOIL-BASED SYSTEM

Traditional soil-based farming is increasingly facing challenges such as soil degradation, water scarcity, and the effects of climate change. These issues threaten global food security, especially with the world's population expected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050. To meet the growing demand for food, agricultural output must increase significantly. However, conventional farming practices are often inefficient and harmful to the environment. As a result, alternative farming methods, such as hydroponics, aquaponics, and aeroponics, are gaining popularity. Hydroponics, a method of growing plants without soil, offers a sustainable solution. It uses nutrient-rich water instead of soil, allowing for more efficient use of water, space, and nutrients. This method can be practiced indoors, in urban areas, or in controlled environments, making it a flexible and eco-friendly alternative to traditional agriculture. There are various hydroponic techniques, including Deep Water Culture (DWC) and Nutrient Film Technique (NFT), which deliver nutrients and oxygen directly to the plant roots, promoting healthy growth. Microgreens, small plants harvested at an early stage, are well-suited for hydroponic systems. They are nutrient-dense, offering high levels of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Their fast growth cycle and small space requirements make them ideal for urban farming and commercial production. Additionally, combining hydroponic systems with organic fertilizers can further reduce costs and improve yields, making it a sustainable option for food production. This review highlights the potential of hydroponics and microgreens as effective solutions to the challenges faced by conventional agriculture, offering a more sustainable and efficient way to produce food in the future.
