While 'Scholar' invites everyoneto share their unconventionalwisdom for the world tobenefit from, the EditorialBoard is interested in knowingif the author has answered afew questions through herarticle (selection secretsrevealed here):

  1. What is it there that is new,unconventional, groundbreaking and why would thefuture leaders need to knowabout this?
  2. Can this idea be applied inreal life or is the author justbuilding castles in the air?
  3. Who is the target audiencefor whom this idea wouldwork? How big is the targetaudience? Who are the ones forwhom this idea would notwork?
  4. What is the magnitude ofresearch done that has createda substantial base around theidea? If the author has comeup with something neverheard of before, does s/hehave the conviction for it to be‘real’? Has the author referredto related previous work(either of his/her own orothers) before coming up withthe idea?
  5. What is the enabler for theauthor to present the idea?What personal, professionaland/or academic exposure hasthe author had to present andrepresent her idea? Even if theauthor does not havesignificant authority torepresent the idea, is theauthor passionate enough tostand by her idea and bring innew learning for others tobenefit from?
